TRUST

Hi folks!

Our subject today is "TRUST". Trust is the one ingredient you HAVE to have if you are going to have any degree of success in business.

Forget everything you have ever been told for the moment and digest that last statement. In fact, let me rephrase it: You WILL NOT see success in ANY business unless YOU prove YOU can be trusted. Now dump all the banners and programs off your front page, and start working on TRUST.

Have I scared you yet? There's no need to worry, unless you thought you were going to get rich quickly online. If that's your goal; sorry - I can't help you. Trust takes time to gain, and you have absolutely NO chance at all of getting rich before you prove trustworthy. (Unless you're a crook - but then you'll eventually get caught!)

People both online and offline have a lot of businesses to choose from. Online choices for most businesses number in the thousands. You have to provide a REASON for people to deal with you. That reason is NOT need. They do not need to go to you. The REASON people choose to deal with a business is TRUST.

Think about it. Where did you last go to get your car repaired? Did you expect to get it fixed properly? That's trust. Now, why did you trust that mechanic to fix your car? In one way or another, you had a reason to trust your mechanic. Either you knew him as a friend, or someone recommended him, or she was someone you knew from a club, or you had a previous favourable experience at the same shop... The plain hard fact is, YOU would not take your car to have someone you did not trust work on it. Period.

Every successful business has the same common denominator: It is successful because it sells a lot of product and/or service, because PEOPLE TRUST THEM!

Online business works exactly the same way, with one major difference: You are playing on a much bigger playing field with way more competition. You have no chance AT ALL of success unless you PRIMARILY build relationships and sell your products and services around those relationships.

How do you do this? Look at what we are doing at http://moneyhogs.com We are having a lot of fun, and we are building trust. We have our email address, our phone number, and our mailing address and our privacy policy clearly posted. Sure, we get spammed all the time, but we have ways to deal with that, and we do our best to answer every legitimate email we receive. You see, we are building RELATIONSHIPS, which lead to trust. Trust leads to business. Business leads to financial success. You just can't work it backwards!

Finally, remember: TRUST is SACRED!!! Do not ever rip someone off! Do your research. Don't sell something unless you are comfortable with it yourself. If you ever discover that you are marketing a scam or a bad product or service, STOP! Furthermore, let your customers know. Most of them will forgive you, will respect you even more, and will do business with you again.
